Ribbon Pakoda with Chakli Flour

Another fried food from South India that resembles chaklis is the Ribbon Pakoda. It is a wonderful holiday treat that is also pretty simple to make. Store these ribbon pakodas using Oddy Uniwraps as it keeps food Safe & Fresh. It is great for Wrapping & Packing.

Ingredients

 

  • Chakli flour
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Oil, Salt and water
  • Oddy Uniwraps

Directions

 

  • Add 3 tbsp oil, salt, and 2 tbsp red chilli powder to 1/2 kg chakli flour and mix well. Add water to the mixture and knead well to prepare the dough.
  • Again, add 3 tbsp of oil to the dough and knead it well. Take a portion of the dough and fill it in the chakli maker greased with oil.
  • Attach the line mold to the chakli maker to make ribbon pakodas. Heat oil in a pan and press the chakli maker to release the dough into the oil.
  • Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes and transfer the ribbon pakoda to a plate lined with Oddy Uniwraps.
