Rice flour momos

About the Recipe

Rice flour momos are the simplest that can be made. It is a gluten-free and healthy snack. The Ecobake cooking paper is used in the recipe to make the momos that are non-sticky to the steamer plate.

Ingredients

 

  • Rice flour- 1 cup
  • Ghee – 1tbsp
  • Sooji – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Water – 1 cup

Directions

 

  • Mix rice flour, ghee, sooji, salt in a bowl and mix with warm water and make into a soft dough. Sprinkle water on it and let it sit for 10 mins. Add oil and knead well.
  • Divide the dough into 3 portions and make them into momos using spatula as shown. Transfer the momos into a steamer plate lined with Ecobake paper and steam it for 10 mins.
  • Now the rice flour momos are ready. It tastes better with momos chutney made with tomato, onion, and red chillies.
