Rich and Delicious Mawa Cake

About the Recipe

The mawa cake is a rich and delicious cake made with mawa. Mawa is made of dried milk solids, also called khoya. The Ecobake cooking paper, which is reusable and eco-friendly, is used in the recipe to make a nonsticky and fluffy cake.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 cup (115 gm) butter & 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs , 1 cup of maida & 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder & 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup mawa (125 g khoya) & 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

 

  • Take a 7" cake tin and line it with Ecobake brown cooking paper. In a mixing bowl, combine soft butter and sieved powdered sugar and beat for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add eggs and beat them again for 1 minute for a creamy consistency. Add sieved maida, corn flour, baking powder, cardamom powder, and vanilla essence to it and mix well without lumps.
  • Add soft mawa to it and beat for 30-40 seconds. The batter is ready. Transfer the batter into the cake tin, spreading evenly and tapping it.
  • Bake it for 40-45 minutes at 170 degrees in a preheated oven. The delicious and soft mawa cake is ready to taste.
