Rich Chocolate Cake Without Cake Mould

About the Recipe

This is a dense and soft chocolate cake made without eggs. It tastes delightful and can be made with a handful of ingredients. You can bake this cake in a pressure cooker kept in a pan. Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup all purpose Flour & 3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp milk & 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp + 2 pinches baking soda & ¼ cup oil
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar & 1/3 cup curd/yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essense & Cream - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Add the wet ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve to the same bowl. Mix them with wet ingredients to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the cake batter into a pressure cooker lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Bake the cake for 40 minutes in a preheated pan. Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the top of the cake. Then divide the cake into three equal parts. Beat the whipping cream, cocoa powder, and sugar in a bowl until stiff peaks are formed.
  • Your chocolate frosting will be ready! Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with sugar syrup, and apply chocolate frosting. Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake.
  • Frost the cake completely with the cream and level it using a card and spatula. Add melted chocolate to the chocolate frosting. Transfer it to a piping bag and make a v-cut.
  • Make floral designs on the cake with chocolate frosting and whipping cream. Create a drop design on the cake border at the top. Make a star design at the bottom of the cake with the remaining ganache. Your cake is ready!
