Sponge Cake Without Egg & Oven

About the Recipe

Today, we’ll show how to prepare a sponge cake without using an oven or eggs. Even children will find it easy to follow the instructions for this dish. Your cake will not be sticky and simple to remove thanks to Oddy Ecobake.

Ingredients

 

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup refined oil
  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 3/4 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tbsp baking soda
  • A pinch of Elaichi powder
  • Tooti Frooti

Directions

 

  • Take 1/4th cup of curd, 1/4th cup of oil or ghee and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well. Add 1 cup of refined flour to the same bowl and mix well.
  • Add 3/4th tbsp of baking powder and 1/4th tbsp of baking soda to the prepared cake batter. Line the cake mould with Oddy Ecobake baking paper.
  • Now transfer the cake batter into the cake mould. Pre-heat a kadai with salt on the stove before transferring the cake batter.
  • Transfer the cake batter to the mould and add 2 tbsp of tooti frooti to the batter. It is important to coat the tooti frooti pieces with maida before adding them to the cake batter.
  • Cook the cake for 35 to 40 min and switch off the stove after checking if it's completely cooked. Transfer the cake to a plate and remove the Ecobake baking paper. Cut the cake, serve them and enjoy.
