Unique Cake Decoration Using Bangles

About the Recipe

Here we are going to learn how to decorate a cake using two bangles. Though this design is not suitable for beginners, you can use it for special occasions to impress your guests. Oddy Ecobake helps you bake the cake in a perfect shape without greasing the mold with butter or oil.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake premix - 350 gm, Oil - 3 tbsp & Water - 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp
  • Sugar syrup & Whipped cream - 1.25 cups
  • Fuschia pink, Dark pink food gel & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing cake premix and oil with water. Transfer the batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake in a preheated kadai for 45 minutes. Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into three equal parts.
  • Beat whipped cream in a bowl until stiff peaks are formed. Place the first layer of the cake, soak it with sugar syrup, and apply whipped cream to it. Add and spread condensed milk over the whipped cream, and place another cake layer on it.
  • Repeat the same process for the remaining cake layers. Frost the cake completely with the remaining whipped cream. Make a ripple pattern with the spatula as shown. Take two bangles and mark two overlapping circles on the cake using them.
  • Make a heart shape with a toothpick using that marked shape, as shown. Make a flower design at the centre of the heart using a 2D nozzle. Take the 336 nozzle and make two flowers above and below the centre flower as shown.
  • Fill the heart shape with flowers using the small and large star shaped nozzles as described. Make a flower border using No. 13 around the heart. Make a twisted rope pattern on the top of the cake with a 1M nozzle. Place a "happy birthday" tag at the center.
