Chilli Gobhi

About the Recipe

This restaurant style chilli gobi recipe is absolutely delicious in taste. You just cannot stop eating these crispy and spicy cauliflower florets. This chilli gobhi is an awesome starter or snack at family dinners or get-togethers. Make them using Ecobake Cooking Paper tray as there is no need for cleaning afterward and is convenient to use.

Ingredients

 

  • Cauliflower & all purpose flour
  • Corn flour- 1 tsp & salt
  • Black pepper & Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Water as required & oil for brushing
  • Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Tray
  • Olive oil- 1 tbsp & Ginger-garlic- 1 tbsp
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • Capsicum (red & green-diced)
  • Tomato chilli sauce- 2 tbsp & Soya sauce- 1 tsp
  • Vinegar- 1 tsp & Corn flour- 1 tsp
  • Water- 1/2 cup & Salt- 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp & Sugar- 1/2 tsp
  • Green onion for garnishing

Directions

 

  • Take out the Cauliflower florets and boil them for about 10 minutes. Strain them and coat them with all purpose flour. Then add in the corn flour, salt and black pepper.
  • Now put in the baking powder and give all of this a mix with your hands. If you feel that the mixture is too dry, then add water as required and mix again.
  • Use Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Tray and place it on the OTG tray. Transfer the hobhi to the tray and spread it as shown. Brush it with some oil.
  • Preheat the oven at 200 Degrees for 10 minutes. Insert the OTG tray on the second shelf and bake it at 200 Degrees for about 20-30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, you can see that the gobhi is crispy. Take a kadhai and add in some olive oil to stir fry the gobhi. Then add in the chopped ginger garlic followed by an onion.
  • Now put in the diced capsicum and tomato chilli sauce. Add in sauces like soy sauce and vinegar. In a bowl, add water and corn flour. Mix it well so that there are no lumps.
  • Put in this prepared mixture to the veggies and sauces. Keep the gas at low flame. Keep stirring continuously.
  • Add in the salt, black pepper powder and some sugar. Mix all of this well.
  • Once the cornflour is cooked, you can add in the crispy gobhi. Mix this well.
  • Your delicious crispy gobhi is ready to serve. Garnish it with green onion.
