Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida or all purpose flour & salt for taste
  • Oil as required & water
  • Chopped ginger & garlic
  • Chopped green chillies & onion
  • Finely chopped capsicum & Oddy Uniwraps
  • Turmeric powder- pinch & Coriander powder
  • Salt for taste & Saunf powder
  • Chaat Masala & Red chilli powder
  • Crushed Kasuri methi & Grated potatoes (medium sized-3)
  • 1/2 cup maida & Dry roasted sevaiyaan

Directions

  • In a bowl, take maida, add salt and oil. Mix all of this well and knead dough as shown in the video after adding water gradually. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
  • In the meantime, we will prepare the filling. Take a kadhai, add some oil and then put in the chopped ginger as well as garlic.
  • Then add in the green chillies. Fry all of this well. Now you can put in the chopped onion and fry it till it becomes transparent. Add finely chopped capsicum now and keep stirring continuously.
  • Now it is time to add all the spices. Mix all of this well and cook it for sometime. Then add in the grated potatoes. Mix everything well with the help of a spatula.
  • Once done, turn off the stove and keep the filling aside. In a small bowl, take maida and add water so that it becomes watery as shown in the video. Now keep it aside.
  • With the help of a cutter, cut 4-5 pieces of dough as shown. Then roll each dough ball with the help of a rolling pin and divide it into 2 pieces.
  • In a non-stick pan, cook these dough pieces for 15-20 seconds on each side.  No need to use oil here.
  • Now prepare cone samosas by applying maida paste on one side as shown and fold it then. Fill it with the stuffing and then spread the maida paste on the open part.
  • Apply dry sevaiyaan on the open part as shown to give it a crispy texture. Similarly, prepare all cone samosas and deep fry them.
  • Pack them or wrap them using Oddy Uniwraps.  Serve them hot with tomato ketchup or any dip.
